One of our own, Nick Kulp and his band Fangtooth, is now in Austin getting ready to rock out at South by Southwest!!! We're here in Jersey writing this and to be honest we're pretty freaking jealous. A Christmas Letter to Too Fast

So, we sent out a package of lil odds and ends to an old friend, here's the email I got back..thought it was so great I would share it with everyone:

Dear Maureeen,
We got our box today!!! On Christmas EVE! How cool is that? Kate and I loved
EVERYTHING in it. I'm decked out in the Creep Show right now, but I might just
have to change clothes 3 or four times so that I can wear everything. I was
soooo having a shitty day until I got my present. I had to return some of the
things that I bought for christmas this morning because we couldn't afford them
and I felt like, well you know, white trash returning crap to walmart on
christmas eve. Thanks so much. When I have money, which I will when we get
things straightened out my friends are getting their presents from TOO FAST. We
are taking turns changing outfits and telling each other we're FABULOUS. I
really can't say how much it means to me, especially for Katie because Christmas
was looking pretty dammed dead and not in a cool way. I hope somebody makes
your day/christmas the way you rocked mine.

Christmas Music Already?!

As a person who has worked in retail for several years, the worst time of the year is the dreaded holiday season of doom, a.k.a Christmas. I'm not saying that all holiday activities are bad or I'm anti-Christmas, I'm just anti wacko holiday shoppers. The fact that Christmas decorations are put out on the shelves at the same time as Halloween decor, drives me batty! Why do retail shops and the mall insist on playing Christmas music starting on November 1st? It's enough to make me want to stay far, far, away! So, what's my solution to holiday shopping when you take the mall and big box stores out of the equation, try the Internet! I highly suggest Too Fast for all those on your Christmas list, grant it you may not find something for grandma or mom, but maybe it's about time you bought them their first pair of Iron Fist shoes. ;)
